Description
This is a used Iconic Tamarack Custom 67T guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it’s playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as “Mint Condition” or “10/10” for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

Condition Notes:
– Condition: 9/10
– Fret wear: Extremely light flat spots starting to form upon very close inspection, but nothing at all of note. Tons and tons of life left until they’re noticeable at all, and definitely nowhere close to needing any sort of work anytime soon.
– Any wear of note: This guitar is really in incredible shape overall. It was blatantly very well maintained and is very clean. It is a factory aged/relic guitar, so it features finish checking, finish wear, light dings and scratches here and there that were intentionally done at the time the guitar was built as part of Iconic’s aging feature. This is meant to give the guitar a vintage look and feel, and is done using a nitro lacquer finish (like the vintage guitars we all love!) so the guitar will continue to age beautifully the more you play it and look like a vintage instrument. But because of the aging, it’s extremely hard to tell if there’s any actual wear because most normal wear would blend in with the aging feature. But we deal with a lot of relic/aged guitars and it all seems like it’s part of they aging. And again, the guitar really is in incredible shape overall and was blatantly well taken care of!
– General notes: This a truly outstanding guitar through and through! Iconic really knows all of the little intricacies and subtleties of guitar building that makes their guitars have that little extra mojo every time, and it’s very evident in this guitar. It plays and feels like an utter dream with a gorgeous resonance to it. The Medium C neck shape fills your hand beautifully. It’s not chunky, but has just the slightest heft to the carve where you can grab notes so easily. And the wood selection on it is out of this world. The figuring on the 5A roasted flame maple neck is so vivid and the Indian rosewood fretboard has the most beautiful streaky grain. Really stunning. And the Ron Ellis sound incredible. They’re so articulate and clear and capture the guitars tone when plugged in perfectly. It’s such a fantastic guitar in every facet and it’s just begging to be played!
– Accessories included: Original hard-shell case, cloth, picks, sticker and nitro lacquer note only.

From Ron Ellis (info for pickups):
50B Bridge Pickup
50B is a vintage recreation of the earliest broadcaster pickups. It has wonderful dimensional harmonics surrounding fundamental notes. The 50B Broadcaster has more harmonic content, compression, and bloom in the upper mids and top end vs the more fundamental 52T bridge. It captures the bite and energy of early 50s broadcaster pickups using exact materials found in those same pickups.
When you think of the 50B, think of Roy Buchanan, Keith Richards and Mike Campbell sounds. The 50B is well suited for rock, country, and for artists focusing on top-end tonality.

Signature Neck Pickup
The Signature Tele Neck is a wonderful all around telecaster neck pickup, designed from original 50’s style telecasters. The Signature TN is Ron’s favorite tele neck and represents a blend of 50’s necks to create a genuine blackguard tone ideal for vintage authenticity and well rounded telecaster blackguard tone.
Signature TN has extended upper mids and clarity in upper frequencies; this extended range makes the Mid Tall a very versatile pickup which works well in all styles of music.
Signature TN is a wonderful companion to any of our Telecaster bridges. It’s Ron’s favorite, combining vintage telecaster tone with single-coil clarity.
