Description
This is a used Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it’s playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as “Mint Condition” or “10/10” for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

Condition Notes:
– Condition: 9/10
– Fret wear: You can sort of see some extremely light flat spots starting to form in the first position of the B and G strings upon close inspection, but hardly worth noting! Frets are still 9.5/10!
– Any wear of note: There’s a couple of very light dings below the switch and a scratch on the horn that are pictured as best as possible. But the guitar is really in incredible shape overall! It exhibits the normal extremely light swirling in the clear coat (Very standard wear for a used guitar. Can happen from simply being wiped/cleaned with a cloth) that’s only really visible in certain lighting. But very minimal and minor, and to be expected from any used guitar. Nothing that will really photograph. But it’s also a VOS finish and has a little of that naturally. The pickup covers have been removed and are NOT included. There’s also some of the extremely standard aniline dye bleed into the finish over the binding. But it happens on all reissue Les Paul like this with a red back. But again, the guitar really is in amazing shape overall! Blatantly was very well maintained. The pickguard hasn’t even been installed! So there are no screw holes yet on the body.
– General notes: Here’s a truly incredible Les Paul! It’s a great weight at 8lb 9oz and has such a gorgeous ring and resonance to it! It’s also super responsive and has a really forgiving feel to it. The neck is so awesome too! It’s not very big or chunky, but it’s not thin either. It’s a nice medium sort of feel where you can still grip onto notes and chords, but it’s still fast and playable. The pickups capture the guitars tone beautifully too. They’re very articulate and open sounding. But the aesthetic of this Les Paul is really what grips us. The top is has some great chevrons and figuring without being in your face. And the Iced Tea Burst is truly gorgeous and almost subtle in a great way. Like most flame tops and bursts, the color of the finish and vividness of the flame varies slightly in person and depending on the light. But it’s really always a beautiful and captivating guitar. Truly stunning visually with outstanding playability, feel and sound!
– Accessories included: Original hard-shell case, COA, checklist, hang tags, checklist, pickguard, black switch back plate (w/ screws) and case key only.
