Tip: Hand-wired is a marketing term often used by boutique amp manufacturers to add value to their products. In practice, it can have many different meanings depending on personal interpretation. Dreamaker Amps embraces it in its noblest form, providing users with a product where the electronic wiring is truly handmade with the utmost mastery and precision. No matter how long it takes to wire an amp, it always has to be the best amp ever made!
POWER SCALING
The sound of rock ’n’ roll at any volume.
One of the most sought-after traits of tube amps is the sound they produce when naturally cranked up (power-amp distortion). The Dreamaker 05_35RC features the most advanced PS technology, enabling you to achieve this iconic sound at any volume level—truly a game-changing feature for any real vintage sound lover. Another benefit of PS technology is that it extends the power tube lifespan at lower power levels—two targets with one shot!
CRANKED-UP TONE:
Set the GAIN to your desired distortion level and adjust the PWR to control the output. Use your guitar’s volume knob and playing dynamics to shape all the nuances, from clean to overdrive!
HIGH CLEAN HEADROOM:
Set the PWR control to a medium-high setting and use the GAIN to fine-tune the output. At maximum power, the amp functions like a standard non-PS amplifier.
Tip: Power Scaling should not be confused with other power reduction methodologies, such as pentode/triode, full power/half power, or class AB/A switches (just to mention a few). It is the most advanced and high-performance power reduction technology available on the market today. Please note that “PS” refers to a power reduction methodology rather than a specific electronic circuit, so not all PS-equipped amps perform the same. Dreamaker has invested years of research into this technology, literally building amps around it to provide users with the best sound quality and the ultimate plug-and-play experience.
