This is a used Morgan SW22R amp head with a matching Morgan 2×12 cabinet. The items pictured are the ones you will receive. They have been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop to ensure they’re working properly and are free of issues, unless otherwise noted in this listing. Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect. – Condition: 9.5/10

– Any wear of note: There’s one extremely small and extremely light tolex rip on the cab. But that’s really it! Both the head and the cab are in really incredible shape and very clean!

– Other notes: This is a truly amazing sounding rig! The head pairs perfectly with the 2×12 cabinet and provides tons of robust and punchy cleans. And if you’re able to really crank it, you’ll get some lovely natural breakup and compression out of it! But it takes pedals like a dream and has a nice lush reverb built in. A really gorgeous sounding and looking rig!

SW22R HEAD

The Morgan SW22R starts with the circuit from the SW22 and then adds three spring tube driven reverb. The SW22R offers the same tonality of the SW22 including its ultra-sensitive pick attack and singing sustain. The SW22R reverb is also run parallel to the original tone stack. This means when the reverb is not being used it is totally out of the circuit unlike most other guitar amp reverbs. Intentionally designed to be the loudest cleanest it could be with 2x6V6s it is still capable of producing a warm compressed natural overdrive.

The SW22R utilizes a special level control. Its job is to control the amount of gain available in the power section of the amplifier. You will notice after about 3 o’clock on the level control you are adding overdrive to the power section. This allows you to use the level control at lower volumes without sacrificing your tone.

The bass, mid and treble controls interact with each other to give you a wide range of tones. The Bass Emphasis switch changes the center point of the mid frequencies allowing you to get even more bass out of the amp. The bright switch is designed to bring in enough top end for even the darkest guitar but without adding any ice picky highs. This amp was designed to be that familiar black face styled tone from the mid 60’s but with added clarity and string to string definition that is unrivaled in any similar design.

This is a LOUD 22 watt amp. You will be pleasantly surprised with its light weight and small footprint especially when it blows much larger and heavier amps out of the water.

212 Gold Cab

At the heart of the cab is a Celestion G12H-75 Creamback 16 ohm speaker and a Celestion Alnico Gold 16 ohm speaker wired in parallel for a nominal 8 ohms. This combination of alnico and ceramic speakers give the 2×12 cabinet a huge sonic platform that delivers on all styles.

The two different styles of speaker fill sonic holes that may exist when using only one type of speaker in a cabinet. This combination also gives you two different mic’ing options when recording or playing live. The Morgan 2×12 CAB – Gold cabinet gives you the best of clean chime while still having the authority to deliver the dynamic punch that overdriven tones need. As with all Morgan cabinets, oversized 12-gauge speaker wire is soldered between the speaker and terminal, assuring you capture every ounce of valuable tone. Most orders over $99.00 ship for free inside the lower 48 states. Certain items that are large and heavy do not qualify for free shipping.

Orders shipping outside the Lower 48 States to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and international orders do not qualify for free shipping. Orders shipping to U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes, and US territories (Guam, Virgin Islands, etc.) can only ship USPS. NOTE: Boxes over 70 lbs each cannot be shipped to these locations.

As a security precaution, orders over $200.00 will only ship to the address your credit card company has on file for you.

Returns

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so we offer a 48 hour approval period on most purchases (see exclusions below). The 48 hour approval period begins when your purchased item is delivered to your door. If after 48 hours you’re not happy with the item, just contact us via phone, email or live chat on our website to arrange for a return authorization (RA#) and return shipping instructions. Any package sent back without prior authorization will be refused.

Returns must be shipped back to us within two days of the RA being issued. Items must come back to us undamaged and in the same condition they were shipped out. All manuals, paperwork, cables, tremolo arms, wrenches, etc… must be included or full credit will not be issued. Any items not conforming to this policy will be subject (at our discretion) to a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price.

Refunds will be issued minus all related shipping expenses, if free shipping was initially given, the cost we incurred to get the item to you will be deducted from your refund. A 10% restock fee will also be deducted from your refund. Restock fees will be waived for full value exchanges.

Here are exceptions to our return policy.

Custom orders of any kind are non returnable and non refundable. We often charge a deposit before we will place a custom or special order. All special order deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, no exceptions.
Microphones, Harmonicas, In-Ear Systems and any other items that come into contact with your mouth or ears.
Items labeled as BLOWOUT, are non-returnable. These are often being sold below cost and are considered “all sales final”.
Software (this may also include hardware that includes software), unless still in shrink wrap with barcode affixed.
Guitar strings, blank media, and other disposable merchandise.
Guitar or bass pickups that have been installed or used in any way.
Any item advertised as “USED” is non returnable.

Early Order Cancellation

All deposits are non refundable. Lots of our products are special orders and in many cases your order has to be built for you at the factory. This is what makes a lot of our products special. Once your order is started, it's being put together just for you. For this reason we ask that you don't cancel your order after you place it with us. If for some reason you absolutely have to cancel your order with us, we will assess you a 25% cancellation charge. This amount is equal to 25% of your total order amount. Ask us before you place your order to see if what you're purchasing is considered a special order.

Damaged Merchandise

Do not accept your shipment if the package shows any signs of external damage. After the item is returned to us we will ship you a replacement. If you receive incorrect or defective merchandise, please call 781-335-0700 within 5 days for a return authorization number.
