Description

From Furch:

Red Pure LC

Alpine spruce / Cocobolo

Features

  • First-class acoustic guitar made for the most discerning guitarists.
  • Premium-quality tonewoods.
  • Proprietary design features and production technologies, including unique soundboard voicing, revolutionary Furch CNR System® neck joint and resonance enhancing Full-Pore Satin Finish.
  • Luxury appearance featuring a host of appointments made from koa and redheart.
  • Heavy-duty Hiscox hardshell case.

The Red Series is synonymous with the highest class of our guitars, which are truly uncompromising in terms of the materials and components. The Red Pure LC is made of premium Alpine spruce used on the soundboard and cocobolo on the back and sides. Both plates undergo our innovative voicing process, which in conjunction with the material used gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones.

The beauty of the tonewood is underlined by a resonance enhancing satin finish and a number of decorative details, led by a redheart purfling and koa rosette, binding and position markers. The guitar comes enclosed in a highly durable, thermally insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium nature of the Red Pure LC is underscored by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, our proprietary technology that enhances the guitar’s tonal properties to the highest level. Thanks to that, the Red Pure LC has a crystalline clear, harmonically rich, balanced, and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance enhancing satin finish

The guitar’s body is coated with an ultra-thin and consistent UV Full-Pore Satin Finish, which we designed to maximize the resonant properties of the instrument while providing excellent protection. The foundation of the surface treatment is our high-gloss varnish, the final layer of which we apply with a matte finish. Thus, the guitar acquires a beautiful, slightly matte appearance.

Beauty of exotic wood

The luxury look of the Red Pure LC is further enhanced by a combination of fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay made from figured ziricote. The body, headstock and fingerboard of the guitar are bound with koa with a white contrasting line, complemented by a redheart body purfling. In addition to binding, we also used koa for the ring rosette and tail decoration.

Furch CNR System® Neck Design

A high precision, dual-action truss rod maintains neck stability and allows for fine adjustment of the neck relief, bilaterally. The truss rod is housed in a highly rigid carbon casing which enables a very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and enduring optimal setup.

  • A fully adjustable dual-action truss rod for highly precise adjustment of the neck bow in both the convex and concave directions.
  • A highly rigid carbon casing that maintains the neck in the set position over a period much longer than is the case with standard neck joint designs and, at the same time, facilitates a gradual bow in the neck, a factor of essential importance for playability.
  • A casting made of special alloy located inside the neck heel that ensures a stable position of the neck and its angle vis-à-vis the body.

Unconventional position markers

White pearl side position markers combined with unconventional rectangular fingerboard inlays made from koa improve fingerboard orientation and enhance the guitar’s exclusive appearance.

Excellent machine heads

The Red Pure LC has an excellent tuning stability courtesy of Gotoh 510 Silver Patina machine heads with polished ebony buttons and a highly precise 1:21 gear ratio.

High-rigidity Hiscox case

Maximum protection during transport is provided by a high-rigidity Hiscox case with polyurethane insulating foam that shields the instrument from changes in external climatic conditions.
