Description
This is a used Fender Jag-Stang guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it’s playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as “Mint Condition” or “10/10” for condition). If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

Condition Notes:
– Condition: 7.5/10
– Fret wear: You can see some extremely light wear in the first couple of frets upon very close inspection, but hardly any at all!
– Any wear of note: The guitar really looks amazing over all but there are 4 dings of note. One is on the front bottom edge about to the right of the strap button. Then there’s a smaller, lighter one on the back bottom left bout. Another is on the bottom middle of the back just above the strap button (Pictured twice. Once shown without an outline, and then another time outlined and also showing some of the light scratches). And lastly, one on the back edge of the body pinch where the guitar would rest on your knee. There’s also a small area that’s picture just below the jack where there are a few extremely light surface dings, but you can honestly hardly see them unless they’re in the right light. There are a couple of light scratches in the middle of the back that you can notice in person but won’t photograph. Other than that, there are other light scratches here and there that are more standard kind of wear. And more noticeable in certain lighting, but aren’t really visible otherwise. But even with all of that, the guitar is still in really great shape overall! Some of the dings honestly look worse in the photos than in person. It’s playing and sounding amazing and ready for a new home!
– Other notes: This is a really sweet little guitar. It’s one of the 2021 reissues so it doesn’t feel beat or anything, even with the aforementioned wear. It’s got a nice small feel with the shorter 24″ scale length. And the body is obviously a specific, sort of strange shape, but it sits on your knee really well and is actually really comfortable! It’s a simple yet eye catching guitar with a great vintage feel that you won’t want to put down! Weighs 7lb 12oz
– Accessories included: Fender hard-shell case only (Not original, but definitely an upgrade from the original gig bag. Original gig bag is NOT included)

From Fender:
Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang®
———-
Description
Few artists in music history can be credited with changing the industry nearly overnight and continuing to influence music culture three decades after the height of their popularity. Kurt Cobain and his bandmates in Nirvana appeared on the scene in the early ’90s as generational talents who combined raucous, heavy tones, punk-infused energy and melodic hooks to create a sound that quickly attracted millions of fans and established grunge and alternative rock as a genre with legitimate mainstream appeal.
Although Kurt was seen playing a variety of Fender guitars over the years, his Fender Jaguar® and Mustang® remain the most iconic due to their use on the “Nevermind” tour and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” music video. Kurt designed the Jag-Stang® to combine his favorite elements of both instruments and brought it to life with help from the Fender Custom Shop in 1993.
Commemorating the 30th anniversary of Nirvana’s seminal record “Nevermind,” this Jag-Stang comes equipped with the same features that made it Kurt’s ideal instrument. The alder body delivers a punchy tone perfect for big power chords, the 24″ short-scale reduces string tension for easier playing, and the 7.25″ radius rosewood fingerboard with maple neck has a comfortable feel that won’t fatigue your hands when chording. The vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucking pickups are perfect for recreating Kurt’s classic tones, while the Mustang slider switches provide the flexibility to dial in four distinct settings for a variety of in or out-of-phase tones.
