Description
This is a used Fender Custom Shop ’63 Jazz Bass Journeyman Relic bass guitar. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a bass or guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it’s playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect. If you have any questions about this or any other piece of gear we have, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help!

Condition Notes:
– Condition: 9/10
– Fret wear: The frets are in amazing shape overall. There’s some extremely light flat spots starting to form upon close inspection, but hardly any! Really very light.
– Any wear of note: This bass is in overall really incredible shape with no real players wear. It is a factory relic bass, which means it features finish checking, small light dings and scratches, finish wear and patina throughout. All of this aging is intentional and was done at the factory when the bass was built as part of Fender’s Journeyman Relic option to give the bass a vintage aesthetic and feel. As mentioned above, there doesn’t appear to be any actual players wear. Or if there is, it all blends into the factory relic’ing seamlessly. It’s really in amazing shape and was blatantly extremely well maintained!
Exhibits the normal extremely light swirling in clear coat (Very standard wear for a used bass guitar. Can happen from simply being wiped/cleaned with a cloth) that’s only really visible in certain lighting. But very minimal and minor, and to be expected from any used guitar/bass. Nothing that will really photograph. No dings, dents or damage.
– General notes: This bass is truly something special. It’s so resonant and lively. It reacts really well to touch and is super responsive. It has an outstanding feel on the neck and is a dream to play. The pickups are nice and articulate and capture the character of the bass beautifully when plugged in. The Journeyman Relic feature really gives the bass that perfect vintage vibe, but without the price tag of a vintage instrument. Along with other classic features, like clay fretboard inlays, the bridge and pickup covers and more! To top it all off aesthetically, the Aztec Gold finish is such an eye catcher. And it’s accentuated even more so with the matching headstock! Fender really knocked it out of the park with this bass and it’s just begging to be played!
– Accessories included: Original hard-shell case, COA, shop floor traveler sheet, leather folder, sticker, case keys, hang tag and pictured literature only.
