The latest offering from 3rd Power is a single channel, vintage inspired combo with loads of features including 3rd Power’s patented Hybrid-Master system! Whether you’re playing at home, or playing a gig, the Hybrid-Master control lets you get to where you need to be.

From 3rd Power:

Classic at the core. Wider in expression.

AURORA 35 begins with the strength, clarity, and dimensional feel of great American amplification — then opens into something broader, more responsive, and more alive in the room.

AMERICAN AT THE CORE

A familiar foundation, taken further.

AURORA 35 is built on the strength, clarity, and openness of classic American amplification — the kind of tone that stays wide, balanced, and responsive under your hands.

But this isn’t about recreating the past. The platform was designed to move beyond a fixed voice, giving the player more control over how the amp opens up, pushes forward, and sits in the room without losing its core identity.

ONE CHANNEL, MORE RANGE

It begins in American clarity. Then it lets you decide how far to open it up.

AT THE FOUNDATION

Wide, balanced, and alive under the hands. AURORA 35 starts with the strength and openness of great American amplification — clear lows, dimensional mids, and the kind of response that stays musical as you lean in.

AS YOU SHAPE IT

More chime. More push. More forward character when you want it. The voice never stops being AURORA — it simply gives you more room to steer the feel, the contour, and the way the amp meets the room.

BRIDGE

Where American strength meets added dimension.

AURORA 35 begins with the clarity, balance, and openness of a great American amp, then reaches beyond that foundation with more harmonic complexity, more contour, and more room to shape how the voice responds.

From there, built-in VENUE MODE attenuation and HybridMASTER volume management let the amp adapt to the room without giving up the feel that makes it worth playing in the first place. The result is a platform that stays musical, responsive, and fully alive at every usable level.

BUILT TO STAY MUSICAL

Nothing extra. Everything in the right place.

AURORA 35 isn’t built around features. It’s built around feel — the way the amp responds, settles, and stays connected to the player as you move through different sounds and environments.

Every part of the platform is there for a reason. Nothing to get in the way. Nothing pulling you out of the moment. Just a clear, responsive instrument that holds together when it matters.

Open it up. Let it respond.

AURORA 35 holds onto the strength and clarity of its American foundation while giving you the space to shape how the amp opens up, pushes forward, and lives in the room.

AURORA 35

Inside the Aurora 35

A closer look at the architecture, control system, and design decisions that shape how AURORA 35 responds, opens up, and lives in the room.

ARCHITECTURE

A 35-watt platform built around American authority and expanded range.

AURORA 35 is a fixed-bias, Class AB amplifier built around a pair of 6L6 power tubes in its standard 35-watt configuration. The platform can also run on 6V6s at 20 watts, giving the player another way to shape output, feel, and response.

At its core, AURORA begins with the strength, openness, and dimensional feel of classic American amplification — then gives the player more room to open that voice up into added chime, contour, and harmonic movement.

CONTROLS & VOICE-SHAPING

One channel. Multiple ways to shape response.

CORE CONTROLS

Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Reverb form the central control layout, giving AURORA 35 a straightforward foundation with enough range to stay precise, musical, and adaptable.

SHAPING TOOLS

Bright Switch, Mid Frequency Boost / Scoop, HF Damp, VENUE MODE, and HybridMASTER give the player deeper control over contour, feel, and output without turning the amp into a feature exercise.

REVERB, FX LOOP & VOLUME MANAGEMENT

Shared ambience. Controlled output.

AURORA 35 includes a tube-driven spring reverb and a tube-buffered FX loop, giving the platform the depth and integration players expect from a fully realized working amplifier.

Built-in VENUE MODE attenuation and HybridMASTER volume management work together to preserve feel, movement, and harmonic behavior as output is scaled to the room. The goal is not simply less volume. It is to keep the amp intact as the environment changes.

CABINET & CONSTRUCTION

Built as an instrument, not just an enclosure.

AURORA 35 is available as a compact head or a 1×12 combo, with each format designed to maintain the same response, feel, and tonal integrity. Cabinet construction and component selection are chosen for stability, resonance, and long-term reliability.

CABINET & MATERIALS

AURORA enclosures are built from high-grade, void-free Italian poplar plywood, selected for its lightweight strength, consistency, and musical resonance. The cabinet remains easy to move while contributing to a more responsive and connected playing experience.

SPEAKER & FORMAT

The 1×12 combo is fitted with a WGS ET-65 speaker, chosen for its balance of warmth, clarity, and controlled low-end response. Head and combo formats share the same amplifier platform and tonal character.

BUILD & ASSEMBLY

Each AURORA is hand-built in Minneapolis, Minnesota, using custom-wound transformers and a construction approach designed for serviceability and long-term performance.
